All of my pottery is handmade in my studio on the western hills of Te Awa Kairangi / Lower Hutt. I use New Zealand clay as much as possible and fire in both electric and gas kilns. At the moment I am favouring a muted colour palette inspired by the natural environment around the studio. I want my pieces to have a handmade look and will often leave my throwing lines in the clay and my fingerprints from where I held each piece while glazing.
